Sound familiar?
Tired of a vending machine nobody services?
Most businesses don't call a vending company because they want a machine. They call because the one they already have has become a problem.
-
It's been empty for two weeks
The route driver comes when the route says so — not when your team actually needs food.
-
Nobody answers when it breaks
You leave a message with a dispatcher three states away, then wait four days for a technician.
-
It ate someone's five dollars
And now you're the one dealing with it, on top of everything else already on your desk.
That's what happens when your account is one of nine hundred. It's not what happens here.
The difference
Why Twin Cities businesses choose a local owner
The larger operators are consolidating and getting further from their customers. Here's what that looks like from inside your break room.
| Local Metro Vending Solutions | Large regional operators | |
|---|---|---|
| Who you talk to | The owner — every time | A call center, or a rep who changes every year |
| Service response | Same or next business day | Three to five days, if you follow up |
| Product selection | You tell me, I change it | A standardized route planogram |
| Refunds for jams | Handled that week, no forms | A corporate reimbursement process |
| Accounts per route | A deliberately limited route | Hundreds of stops per driver |
| Who fills your machine | Me | Whoever is on the route that week |
I keep my route small on purpose. Every location I take on gets serviced properly, or I don't take it on.
How it works
From first call to stocked machine in about a week
Four steps, and three of them are mine. Here's exactly what happens after you get in touch — no surprises, no paperwork marathon.
-
A quick conversation
Tell me about your location, how many people are on site, and what shifts you run. Phone or email, whichever you prefer.
-
A free site visit
I come out, look at the space, measure for power and clearance, and recommend the right setup. No charge, no obligation.
-
Delivery and install
I handle delivery, placement, setup, and payment configuration. Your team does nothing but tell me where to put it.
-
Service and restocking
I monitor stock levels remotely and restock before you run out. If something breaks, you text me and I'm there.
Step one takes ten minutes. Start the conversation

What you get
Modern machines, stocked the way your team wants them
Nothing here is purchased, leased, or financed by you. Pick the setup that fits the space and I'll handle the rest.
-
Option 01
Snack & combo machines
Both sides of the break room in one footprint. Glass-front so people can see what they're getting, with a drop sensor that refunds automatically if something hangs up.
- Glass-front, guaranteed drop
- 30–45 selections
- Snack and drink in one unit
-
Option 02
Cold beverage machines
Soda, water, sports drinks, energy drinks, and cold brew. Sized to your actual traffic rather than to whatever happened to be on the truck that morning.
- Bottles, cans, and energy drinks
- Sized to your headcount
- Holds temperature through a shift change
Standard on every machine
-
Tap-to-pay on everything
Credit, debit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Cash is optional — no exact change, no coin jams, no one walking away empty-handed.
-
Remote stock monitoring
I see what's selling and what's running low before you have to tell me. Restocks follow your traffic, not a fixed calendar.
Meet the owner
You'll be working with me
I'm [OWNER NAME], and I own and run Metro Vending Solutions. When you call, I answer. When your machine needs filling, I'm the one filling it. When something breaks, I'm the one fixing it — usually the same day.
I started this business because I kept hearing the same story from break rooms across the metro: the machine was empty, nobody called back, and everyone had given up on it. I keep my route small enough that that never happens to the locations I take on.
No dispatch queue, no ticket number, no route driver who doesn't handle that. Just one number, and I'm on the other end of it.
Questions
The things people ask before they call
Short version: it costs you nothing, there's no long contract, and you deal with me directly. The longer answers are below.
Cost & how it works
How much does a vending machine cost my business?
Nothing. For qualifying locations the machine, delivery, installation, stocking, maintenance, and repairs are all free. There's no equipment charge, no lease, and no monthly fee.
How do you make money if it's free to me?
Product sales, and nothing else. I buy the inventory, stock the machine, and earn on what sells. If your location doesn't move enough volume, that's my risk to carry — not a bill that lands on your desk.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No multi-year lock-in. We put a simple placement agreement in writing so we both know what to expect, and you can end it with reasonable notice if it isn't working for you.
Can my business make money from the machine?
Commission arrangements are available for higher-volume locations. Tell me your headcount and I'll walk you through what your traffic would realistically support before you commit to anything.
Do you qualify
How many people do I need on site to qualify?
Around 25 or more people on site regularly is the usual bar. Below that, a counter-top unit or smart cooler may still make sense — it's worth a short conversation either way.
What kind of space does a vending machine need?
Roughly 40 inches of wall width, a few inches of clearance behind for airflow, a standard 110V outlet nearby, and an indoor spot out of direct sun. I'll measure during the site visit and tell you straight if it won't fit.
Service & day to day
How often do you restock the machines?
It depends on your traffic. Remote monitoring tells me what's selling and what's running low, so I come before you run out — anywhere from twice a week for a busy warehouse to every other week for a smaller office.
What happens if the machine breaks or takes someone's money?
Text or call me and I'll be out the same or next business day. Anyone who lost money gets it back — no forms, no claim process, no waiting on a corporate reimbursement.
Can we choose what goes in the machine?
Yes, and you should. Tell me what your team actually wants and I'll stock it. If something isn't selling after a few weeks, I swap it out rather than leaving it there taking up a slot.
Do the machines take credit cards and Apple Pay?
Every machine takes credit, debit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Cash is optional depending on your preference — most locations skip it, which also means no coin jams and no exact-change problem.
Do you offer healthy options?
Yes. Protein bars, nuts, baked chips, low-sugar drinks, and water. Plenty of locations run a mixed setup — standard snacks on one side, better-for-you options on the other.
Are you insured?
Fully insured. A certificate of insurance is available on request, and if your property management company needs it, I'll send it to them directly so it isn't your job to chase.
Service area & timing
What areas of the Twin Cities do you serve?
The full metro — Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding suburbs across Hennepin, Ramsey, Dakota, Washington, and Anoka counties. If you're not sure whether you're in range, ask.
How fast can you get a machine installed?
Usually within a week of approval, sometimes faster depending on the model and your building's access requirements.
Still have a question? Ask me directly — I answer my own email.
